Foster homes and volunteers play a vital part in our mission. Without them, many dogs would still be living on the streets.
Foster homes
A stepping stone, not a goodbye
Being a foster home means welcoming a dog into your own home until it finds its forever family. A few weeks, sometimes a few months.
It is a precious role: the dog discovers what home life is like, learns to trust again, and you help us get to know it better so we can find it the right family.
What we take care of
- The dog's veterinary costs
- Ongoing support and advice throughout the placement
- The search for its forever family
What we ask of you
- Time, patience and a calm environment
- Regular updates on how the dog is doing
- The willingness to let it go when its family comes along
Where are we looking?
Mainly in Normandy and the Rhône-Alpes region, where we can provide proper follow-up. Live somewhere else? Write to us anyway: we consider every offer.
Volunteering
There are a thousand ways to lend a hand
Got an hour a week or a skill to offer? Chances are we have something for you.
Admin
Adoption files, follow-up with adopters, paperwork and formalities.
Transport
Bringing a dog over from Morocco, or driving a leg of the journey within France.
Events
Running a stall, organising a fundraiser, spreading the word about the association.
