Home·Our dogs·How to adopt

Adopting is a commitment

Here, step by step, is how an adoption works with us. Please take the time to read it all: we would rather have a well-prepared family than a quick adoption.

  1. You find your companion

Browse our dogs' profiles and get to know their stories, their personalities and their needs. Every dog is unique, and we are here to help you find the one who is right for you.

  2. You fill out an adoption form

This questionnaire helps us get to know your lifestyle and make sure the dog will be happy in their new home.

  3. We talk it through together

Once we receive your request, we arrange a phone or video call to answer your questions and talk through the adoption together.

  4. The adoption is approved

If the adoption is approved, we prepare the file and the adoption contract, and arrange the arrival of your future companion.

  5. Veterinary care

If it hasn't been done already, we begin the veterinary protocol: microchipping, vaccination, spaying or neutering, internal and external deworming, and blood testing. See the FAQ for the full details.

  6. The journey to France

Our dogs travel safely from Morocco to France, in full compliance with current regulations. They are microchipped, vaccinated and spayed or neutered, and travel with a passport and all the necessary documents.

  7. Arriving home

Your new life together begins! We stay available to support you, offer advice and answer your questions throughout the settling-in period.

  8. Support that lasts

Adopting a dog means creating a bond for life. We check in with you regularly and are always delighted to receive photos of the dogs we once cared for.

Before you apply

Make sure you are ready to commit for your companion's whole life. Adopting a dog is a thoughtful decision, one that takes time, patience and a great deal of love.

Adoption fees

Adoption fees are not a sale price: they cover part of the costs we actually spend to bring a dog off the street and prepare them for their new life.

Veterinary protocol

€400

Vaccinations, microchipping, blood testing, and spaying or neutering.

Transport to France

≈ €550

Taxi Essaouira – Marrakech (€70), flight (€200), IATA crate (€110), train from Paris (≈ €100).

Adopting in Morocco or in France?

We place our dogs in France and across Europe. The difference in cost comes from the rabies vaccination, the blood test and transport, all of which are required to enter European territory.

Ready to take the step?

Fill out the adoption request form. We read every one carefully and will get back to you so we can talk it through in person.
